Tax

MN customers: The mandatory 7% Minnesota sales tax will be added to your order. If you have never ordered from us before, our system does not assume that you are from MN, and therefore prices without tax will be shown in the shopping catalog. At the time of your first purchase, you will enter your address in the checkout process, and our system will add the required 7% tax for MN shipments.

But once your address is in our shopping cart system, if you are logged in, prices in our shopping catalog will always reflect the included tax. (If you wait until checkout to login, the tax will not show until then.)

Non-MN Customers: For all orders being shipped outside of Minnesota, the prices shown are the final prices you will be charged, with no additional sales tax. Shipping is the only cost that will be calculated and added at the time of checkout.

Shipping

There is a base weight for each item (based on the packaging filled with our classic flavor popcorn), and that will determine the initial cost of shipping your order. However, our flavored popcorns (caramel, cheddar, cashews) add varying amounts of weight to the package, and thus each may affect the shipping cost differently. For any products that have additional fees for added weight, it is indicated with a small asterisk (*) note within the product's description page.

Final adjusted shipping cost is calculated with UPS's own shipping tools, which are integrated into our checkout system, based on the shipping distance to your ZIP code.

But don't worry: The total cost, including shipping, will be presented to you before your final agreement to pay via credit card, so there will be no surprises.
