Sometimes "proprietary" ISPs, such as AOL, cause difficulty for users to login to some secure sites, such as shopping cart sites like this one. We have already had a few AOL users experience this problem on carrollscorn.net. Our recommendations:

AOL Broadband Users
Connect to the internet directly through Firefox or Internet Explorer browsers, and do not use AOL's own proprietary browser or software. AOL's browser/communication software has been known to cause problems with sites like ours.

AOL Dialup Users
Just as with broadband connections above, do not use any of AOL's connection software. This means for dial-up users that you also should use Microsoft's or Apple's own dial-up connection managers, and not a proprietary AOL dialer. And again, use a "mainstream" browser (Firefox or Internet Explorer), but not one that has been "tweaked" by AOL.

In all known AOL cases that we have encountered, this has solved any problems with connecting, registering, and logging into carrollscorn.net.

If you continue to encounter any difficulties with logging in, check for the following:

1. Have you confirmed your account registration yet? (When you first registered, you should have received a confirmation email at the email address that you provided during regisration. In order to confirm your registration, you need to access that email message and click a link provided within.)
2. Did you mistype your email address during registration? (If you didn't even receive a confirmation email from carrollscorn.net, then it's likely that there was a typo in your email address.)
3. Might you have mistyped your name or password? (Check to be sure your CAPS LOCK isn't on.)
