Founded in 1993 by former swim coach Pat Carroll, Carroll's Corn was started with a desire to bring new and local businesses to Rochester. Pat narrowed down his choices of business to either open a gourmet popcorn store, and a video store. You can obviously tell which option he chose and here we are today!

Throughout the years, a number of people have been a part of the Carroll's Corn team, finding joy in popping and serving a number of amazing customers.
Finding Joy
It's a privilege for us to work closely with the Rochester community. Many of our favorite customers are people coming for treatment at Mayo Clinic. Many are doctors, nurses, and clinic staff coming in for a well deserved break. We know our unique location keeps us alive and it's an honor to be a party of the community of Rochester.

A new generation
In 2021, Pat announced his well deserved retirement, and excitedly announced that Seamus would be taking over the business.
After working in the store throughout high school and college, he came back and began to learn the business and see where new strides could be made. His passion and drive are sure to grow the Carroll's Corn kingdom.
Continuing Growth
For many 2020, brought a lot of hardship, Carroll's Corn included. It also taught us to adapt and try options like local delivery, new longer lasting bags, and partnering with local businesses. We're excited to continue selling at those local businesses.
